Hi!
The game of "life" does not come with an instruction manual. Sometimes experiences lead to the development of thoughts and feelings that allow us to adapt to situations. As we maneuver through life, those thoughts and feelings that once promoted survival could interfere with accomplishing goals. Processing stress, symptoms of anxiety, and symptoms of depression can be debilitating. Together, we can learn about previous experiences and the physiological sensations, thoughts, and feelings that were created. Then, we can explore the effect that they have on your current life and make modifications so that you are able to achieve your goals.
I utilize a person-centered, strengths-based, and humanistic approach to therapy where you are the expert. We will explore previous situations through a trauma informed lens in a safe space. This process will help you learn how to separate yourself from symptoms, identify adaptations, make modifications, and achieve goals.
Throughout life, I have maintained a sense of empathy and desire to support others. Life can be messy and sometimes we just need a little support while we continue on our journey. Let's connect so that we can take steps toward accomplishing your goals.
